LED headlamp - handy little gadget when working on your vehicle anytime, provides white light right where you are looking and working.  Also, works well  for walking around at night.  Be sure that the light-head  has a good range of up & down adjustment. (the one I use has three LEDs and also has a conventional krypton bulb, which is handy when you need a wider beam of light.)

torx  "T-size" drivers & "E-size" sockets (especially those sizes that you know fit your vehicle)

gloves
hand cleaner
quality electrical tape
assorted electrical splices & connectors
assorted cable ties - nylon, not those cheap plastic ties
roll of self-sealing tape - often sold as 'high voltage' tape
