(4 WheelParts markets the
Warn® Recovery Kit (including: bag, gloves, shackle, choker chain, snatch
block and tree strap) for ~$145.95)
(Summit Racing markets the Superwinch® Accessory Kit (including: bag, 2
shackles, 20,000 lb snatch block, tree strap and gloves) for ~$169.99
choker chain (8-12 ft of grade 80 3/8 chain with open hook on one end
and 3/8 chain hook on the other) ($20)
If the
trails you travel are often blocked with fallen trees or large rocks you
might want to consider carrying a choker. If you encounter fallen
trees or larges rocks only occasionally, these can be moved with a tow
strap. But remember that trees and rocks will quickly cause abrasion cuts
on tow straps.
